About this project
Why a person would catalogue lanterns at all.
I am Sven, and I love lanterns. The glow, the warmth, the way one of them waiting at the end of a path can convince you to walk another kilometer.
Lanterns have been on most of my better days. Marathons, hundred-kilometer bike rides, the Mammut Marsch, plus a good number of strolls that should have ended hours earlier. They lit the way and made the dark feel like company.
This is where I keep the ones worth keeping. If a lantern made me stop walking, it is probably in here.
